Description
Self adhesive 5mm closed cell foam with high strength pressure adhesive on both sides. Comes in charcoal grey, to combat light penetration and is supplied in 100cms x 75cms sheets. Apply to the substrate first if re-using the original fabric when the old foam has perished, or for using either foam backed or unfoamed fabric as a more durable foam against the substrate for longer foam life.
Please Note: We use a high heat resistant adhesive on the closed cell foam which will need to be heated up to soften the adhesive before applying to your substrate or applying a fabric to it. This will allow the adhesive to impregnate into the recesses thereby having contact with a greater surface area and effecting a secure bond. Due to this, additional bonding/adhesive may be required if you were to apply open cell foam products to the closed cell foam.
